Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 18 mm, 2.36 g, 7 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Treveri, after 325-326. CONSTAN-TINVS AVG Laureate and draped bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. PROVIDEN-TIAE CAESS / STR(crescent) Campgate with no doors and two turrets; above, star. Cf. RIC 461 (for obverse) and 462 ff. (for reverse). The obverse weakly struck, otherwise, very fine.

This neat imitation mixes the obverse of Constantine I (RIC 461) with a reverse used for his Caesars (RIC 462-464).
